FEATHER's Story...
My name is Feather. I'm a cute little girl who is about 6 months old! I am full of energy and love to play, play, PLAY! I don't have much in the way of manners, but I am learning. As for other cats, well, I'd probably be too much energy for them, unless it's another young kitten around my age. Even though I am 6 mo, I am very tiny and petite - but don't let me size fool you, I'm a firecracker!

I won't last long, so if you're interested, don't wait. If you are interested in meeting me, please come visit me at the NBAR Adoption Center located at 2502 Rochester Rd., Royal Oak MI. They are open from 4-7P Wed-Fri and 12-4P Sat-Sun.

If you are interested in adopting me, please email NBAR your completed application. My adoption fee is just $150, which helps cover the cost of my medical/vet work. If you don't think I'm the one for you, maybe you could share my story with your friends and family and help me find my purr-fect home! Follow New Beginnings Animal Rescue on Facebook for more pictures of me and my kitty counterparts!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

FEATHER, a Royal Oak Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Royal Oak, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Royal Oak.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Royal Oak already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Royal Oak breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Royal Oak paves the way for another one to be saved.
