Here's what the humans have to say about me:
On Thursday January 8 this very well cared for, lactating female German shepherd showed up on our property in Azle, Texas. We have had her with our dogs for since then.
Name: Mama
Age: Assessing
Gender: Female
Mix/Purebred: Purebred
Housetrained: Seems to be house trained. We haven’t had her in overnight but she has not messed in the house when she has been in for long stretches with our dogs.
Crate trained: No
Heartworm Negative/Positive: Unknown
Spayed/Neutered: No
Micro chipped: No
Good with other dogs: Very good with our medium sized border collie mix, young Welsh Terrier male and old Australian Shepherd
Good with cats: Went from being afraid of cats to interested, and easily called off
Good with children: Assessing, although we have made every effort to invade her space as a child would. Lets you hold her tail, touch her ears, mouth etc
Mama has all of the characteristics of having been a brood bitch but seems to take to our household of dogs indoors and out. She is learning to behave at doors, we are working on a sit. She has some leash manners. I believe she will make someone an excellent dog.
