Bruce is a heart-throb. He is a 6 or 7 year old Black Lab that lived his life loving an elderly person that had to leave him behind when they entered a nursing home and the final chapter in their life. Bruce doesn’t need the final chapter of his life to be over just yet. He has a good 6 or 7 years left in his big hunk of a Lab body. This boy is 75 pounds and probably could add just a few pounds to fill out. He is mellow….he is loving….he is calm…he is easy to walk on a leash and he comes to you when called. All he wants is to spend his days being the best friend to a family or even another retired person who promises to outlive him. When his owner entered the nursing home the family took him to a kill shelter. Oh so wrong for this boy. He is the deepest soul of a dog. Never should Bruce spend one day in a kill shelter! CCR has a temporary foster home for him, but what Bruce needs is a home…a heart…a hand to hold his leash and walk him down the many roads that are left to explore in life.
