Nadia's Story...
Hi, I’m Nadia! I am about 8 years old, and I look like a Schnauzer mix. I came to NJ from Puerto Rico, and saw snow for the first time! It didn’t faze me in the least. I can be a little shy at first, but I warm up very quickly and I like to be petted. I am very sweet and gentle, and I have a medium energy level. I lived in a foster home for a little while, and they said that I am housetrained, and I like to sleep near my humans. I like dogs and cats, and enjoy going for walks. I weigh 18 lbs.

I had lots of babies, so I need a little cosmetic surgery, which is being scheduled for next week! I’ll be as good as new very soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nadia, a Eatontown Schnauzer (Standard)/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Standard)/Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Eatontown, or seeking a Schnauzer (Standard)/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Eatontown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Eatontown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Eatontown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Standard)/Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Standard)/Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Eatontown paves the way for another one to be saved.
