4 y/o male, needs an active home, $275 adoption fee
Toshi is an adorable, loveable, bundle of energy, who acts much more like a puppy than an adult! With all this energy, he needs an active family that provides lots of regular exercise, play and attention. Toshi loves pets, snuggles, playing fetch and romping with the other dogs in the home. He would love to share his home with another playful pup, but should be fed separately as he occasionally displays food aggression. Toshi is okay with cats, but can be a little annoying and will give chase if they take off running.
Toshi is a major escape artist and needs secured fencing all around his yard as he will try to dig out under or push through any weak spots. He can also climb chain link, so it should be tall privacy fencing (wood, vinyl, etc.).
Toshi is crate-trained, potty-trained and working on leash-walking. While sometimes fine on walks, at other times if the leash gets even a little taut or tugged, Toshi will roll onto his back and yelp. It may be that a fenced-in yard is best, but with continued work, his leash-walking should improve.
Toshi’s adoption fee is $275 and includes his neuter, vaccinations, heartworm test, de-worming, microchip and mandatory 6 week professional training course.
