Haru is a sweet, shy girl released to rescue from a mill. She has made good progress in rescue and is happy to see her fosters when they come home; she runs up to greet them with wagging tail and hand kisses, then she runs off to be shy again for a bit. She is spending more and more time with her fosters and will even come check out visitors to the home. Haru does not like lots of noise or big changes, so a calmer home with a fairly set routine would be best. Haru is good with cats as well as dogs.
Haru loves her crate and will go in willingly. If she needs to potty while crated, she will let her fosters know with some soft whimpering. Once released from the crate, she sometimes needs guidance to get outside. Haru has made some progress with walking, but can still get very scared on leash and needs a home with a fenced-in yard.
Haru is a very happy girl most of the time and likes being around people she knows. She needs patience and some time to learn skills and build trust with new people. Haru's adoption fee is $175 and includes her spay, de-worming, vaccinations, microchip and heartworm test.
