Fonzie is estimated at being around 2-3 years old. He was a rescue who was dumped with 21 other small dogs at a local business. We spent 2 weeks catching all the dogs to keep AC from shooting them on site. Some of the dogs were afraid of people. We only have 2 AC officers in our whole county and they could not devote 2 weeks like we did to catching them. The county shelter is small and even if they caught all the dogs to take to the shelter they would have had to put all the dogs at the shelter down to make room for them. We took them all on with no help from anyone financial or otherwise. We foot the cost of vetting,spay neuter and care out of our own pockets. However we could not stand by and not do anything. We think they were dumped by a backyard breeder or puppy mill!
Fonzie is a sweet laid back humble boy. He is shy at first but he warms up quickly. He is great with other dogs and he loves cats. He is crate trained and will actually put him self to bed at night in his crate when I tell him it is time. He is almost potty trained as well. He has done really well considering the situation he came from. He is currently around 12 pounds.
He is neutered, current on shots, heartworm tested and on prevention and he is microchipped. He is current on flea prevention. He will go with 1 free month of pet health insurance.
