Jeffrey's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and not good with cats.

Jeffrey's Story...
Jeffrey came to us by way of another local shelter. His is a big, happy, goofy puppy. Jeffy is doing amazing well in training, but, in typical hound fashion, does like to let his silly side shine through. And he has the best hound bellow!
Jeffrey has tested negative for heartworm and is UTD on vaccines. He is neutered and will be microchipped before finding his forever home.
In typical "hunting dog" fashion Jeffy has a high prey drive and is not good with cats. He likes to wrestle hard with his buddies so another large, young, energetic dog in the home would be ideal!
Jeffrey is a Black and Tan Coonhound mix. His approximate DOB was 2/7/14 and his date of arrival was 10/7/14.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jeffrey, a Fremont Black and Tan Coonhound/Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Black and Tan Coonhound/Coonhound for sale in Fremont, or seeking a Black and Tan Coonhound/Coonhound dog from a breeder in Fremont.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fremont already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fremont breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Black and Tan Coonhound/Coonhound breeders who help with Black and Tan Coonhound/Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fremont paves the way for another one to be saved.
