My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We don't know her exact age as Bindi was dumped from a passing car close to a park. Two young boys went to her aid and brought her to the attention of a passing couple who were walking their dog and who took the little girl home. She is the size of most of our 9 week old pups but she acts more mature. She is crate trained and loves hanging out with our older puppy. She is pee pad trained but we are working on teaching her to go outside. We have no idea what breeds are in Bindi's makeup but given her approximate age, we don't believe she is going to be more than a medium sized dog, approximately 40 lbs. For a puppy she is very calm and although we have listed her as a Border Collie mix due to her colouring, she does not have the energy level known for this breed. If anything, she acts more like a Shetland Sheepdog but again, she doesn't have the nippy or noisy behaviours of a Sheltie pup. There are probably several breeds that make up her background but we are pretty sure she will remain on the small size. Regardless she is a lovely little pup. She is very affectionate, playful, and already crate trained and sleeping through the night with no issues.

Bindi is great with the other dogs in her foster home and ignores the cats. She is a healthy little girl that has had her first set of vaccinations, has been dewormed and given a healthy vet check. She is a very easy to care for puppy as she is happy to be doing whatever the other dogs in the home are doing. Of course being a baby her routine throughout the day is eat, play and then nap. She is a very gentle puppy and would be good with even young respectful children. Bindi will make a wonderful family pet. She would do well with another older, playful dog in the home but would be fine on her own with someone willing to give her the love and attention she needs.

Please ensure that if you are thinking of applying for this little girl that you realize the lifetime commitment you are making. Bindi needs a home where someone is home more often than not and someone who will be dedicated to ensuring she is trained and socialized to become a confident and capable companion as an adult.

If you are ready to make a commitment to a baby and think Bindi would be a good choice for your family, please submit an application for consideration.
