Libby's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

Libby's Story...
Libby is a 3-year old spayed female that came to us from a public animal shelter on her very last hour. In fact, she was in the euthanasia room when word came that we would take her. Libby is thriving in her training sessions. She loves to work with her handlers. Libby is exceptionally smart and driven to please. Since she is reactive to other dogs, Libby would be perfect as the only dog in the home. The world is a new and exciting place for Libby. Come meet her!
To meet Libby, please fill out an on-line application at http://traineddogsforadoption.org. This first step in our adoption process does not commit you to anything, it just helps us better understand what kind of dog you are looking for. We look forward to hearing from you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Libby, a Altadena German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Altadena, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Altadena.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Altadena already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Altadena breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Altadena paves the way for another one to be saved.
