My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HOPE | A senior with a huge heart. On a recent trip to the public animal shelter, we spotted Hope in the kennel next door to the dog we came to pull. Hope had been in the shelter for two months after coming in as a stray. Nobody claimed her. Nobody wanted her. She was depressed. She barely moved when we greeted her. Well, it was the day before Christmas and there wasn’t chance we were going to leave her behind to face certain death.

After she was safe in our care, we bathed her, trimmed her nails, got her needed veterinary care and took her for walks in the park. Despite her advanced years, Hope seems to be growing younger each day. All Hope really wants and needs is a safe place to curl up with someone that will love her. Could that be you? Please ask us about Hope…
To meet Hope, please fill out an on-line application at http://traineddogsforadoption.org. This first step in our adoption process does not commit you to anything, it just helps us better understand what kind of dog you are looking for. We look forward to hearing from you.
