Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DRAKE is a 3 year old neutered black male Lab who weighs 65 pounds. Drake is somewhat skittish and gets startled at loud sounds. It only took him a few hours to be up on the sofa cuddling with foster mom. He loves to do zoomies and hop about like a rabbit, he comes when called about 75% of the time. He will sit for his meals and treats. He enjoyed a frozen kong stuffed with canned dog food in his crate while we ate dinner and was good. I put him in the crate around 9:15 for the night and don’t hear a peep out of him till 6:15 in the morning when I go downstairs for coffee. He loves to look out the windows. He is particularly interested in birds. He’ll stop everything to watch birds or geese fly over and sniffs the birds out of the bushes. Drake is strikingly handsome, his coat is much like a flat coat retriever -all shiny and soft and he has magnificent eyes. He’s a real looker! We walked about a mile this morning using a harness and he did pretty well. He settles wonderfully in the house after being outside, and he’s got a very nice moderate temperament. Drake has been in doggie playgroups and is not interested in finding a buddy. He prefers to be with his people. Drake was a stray to the shelter. He is approved for kids 10+. More info soon!
