Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! We are Whisper and Noel. Although we are not siblings by birth we have really bonded and would like to stay together. I’m noel and If I can boast a little for a minute - I have brought Ms. Whisper out of her shell. before she met me she would play a bit - bat a feather here and there and maybe chase a ball once in a while - now that I’m on the scene I have got her running circles playing with anything and everything! Whisper is on the timid side so she needs a little help breaking down those barriers that keep her from becoming the little love bug that I know she wants to be.
I on the other hand am all kitten! I love nothing more than to play 24/7 - with a few breaks for food, a little snuggling and don’t forget the treats - I personally like to bat mine all over the room before I decide to pounce on it and finally eat it!! yes I am quite cute. I am all black with a fuzzy, furry coat ( I was born outside and was out there for quite a while before these nice people rescued me and brought me inside so I’ve still got a bit of a “winter coat” ) I love to be petted - in between playtime of course - and purr up a storm and I’ll even snuggle in your arms for quite a few minutes before taking off chasing that ping pong ball.
Whisper is a beautiful little black and white girl with an adorable strip of white down her nose. She is still learning to trust people, she was outside longer than me, and although she loves to be petted – she’ll roll over and flirt with you till you give her a belly rub - she still is not comfortable being held. we’re working on that. I’m trying to convince her that its ok and she’s getting better all the time. When she decides she really likes you she’ll give you kisses! Even I don’t do that yet!
She’s very timid by nature so whoever adopts us needs to understand that it will take her a while to adjust to new settings but as long as I’m with her I think we’ll be ok! I’ve almost got her trying to sneak out of the kitten room with me!
So if you think you are the right people for us, give our foster mom an email at cmm@maine.rr.com and come see us!! and don’t forget to bring the treats! Whisper loves treats too!
