Facts about Robin

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Tortoiseshell
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
My name is Robin. I am a female dilute tortoiseshell cat. I was born in June 2014 along with my two sisters Rayna and Reegan. We were born outside and were rescued when the weather starting getting really cold.

I have been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. I am also negative for FIV/FELV.

I was shy at first, but I have really come out of my shell. I love when my foster mom rubs my ears and gives me all kinds of affection. I am very playful; I especially like to chase the laser pointer around. You can adopt me by myself or with my sister Reegan.

About Second Chance 4 Pets Network

About Our Rescue Group...

Second Chance 4 Pets Network is an all-volunteer organization started in March 2012 and dedicated to helping people help animals.

Our focuses will be spaying/neutering the free-roaming strays in our community, rescuing and adopting out homeless pets, a rehoming assistance program, providing low-cost vaccinations and pet food to those owners in need, microchipping and community education.

Second Chance 4 Pets Network is looking for volunteers to help with fostering pets, fundraising, publicity and transporting animals.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our adoptable pets currently are in foster homes. Arrangements can be made with the foster caregivers to visit the pet in its foster home.

We also hold adoption events at Petco stores in Highland and Merrillville, Indiana on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Our Adoption Process...

Second Chance 4 Pets Network does not do same day adoptions. All potential adopters are required to fill out an adoption application that includes the name of the adopter's veterinarian and 3 references. Once references have been checked and the application approved, the potential adopter will be notified. To finalize the adoption, the adopter will also be required to sign an adoption contract. If for some reason, the adoption does not work out, the adopter is required to return the pet to Second Chance 4 Pets Network.

Our fees for adoption are $75.00 for cats and $150 for dogs. All our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, wormed, tested for heartworm or feline aids/leukemia. Dogs are also microchipped.
