Ariel's Story...
Ariel is one our cats we have turned around. She came to us in January 2012 very shy, not letting anyone near her. With lots of love and attention, not giving up on her, she now loves to be petted and have her tummy and back rubbed. She really has come a long way, during the last several months, when I now call her she makes her way over to greet me. Before she would meet me half way to her favorite safe shelf. She is very smart and with some steady attention, perfect kitty comes to mind. She is about 5 years old as of 6/1/16 and would be perfect for any family, better with older kids. Gets along great with other cats. What more could you want?? For more info on this cat, please call Julie at 818 307-3326 or our shelter between 1:00 and 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday (closed Mondays) at (818) 340-1687 or (818) 340-1186.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ariel, a Canoga Park Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Canoga Park, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Canoga Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Canoga Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Canoga Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Canoga Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
