Sammie's Story...
Sammie was a stray and appears to be a Bengal mix. He is 2 1/2 years old, very friendly, affectionate and loves to cuddle his humans. He is very playful, loves squeaky bird wands, and enjoys drinking water from a sink. He would be at his best as the only cat in the family; cat-friendly dogs are ok; he is not good with small children, teenagers ok. His adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccination, rabies shot, Leukemia test and a microchip. Sammie hangs out at the Metrocenter Petco (2784 W. Peoria, Phoenix) and can be visited during store hours.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sammie, a Phoenix Bengal cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bengal for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Bengal cat from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bengal breeders who help with Bengal rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
