If you are looking for a funny and playful little sidekick; one that will stay close to you throughout the day and snuggle up with you at night, Andy’s your boy! This little guy weighs only 7.5 pounds and has a beautiful cream and white coat. Because Andy was found as a stray, his age is unknown, but the veterinarian estimates him to be between 10 months and a year old.
Andy is energetic and loves to play, chasing his foster sisters around, seeing who can get one of the favorite toys first. He loves any attention, but especially his belly rubs. He simply becomes a “wiggle worm” on the bed, squirming from side to side, loving every moment of his rub. At night Andy does well sleeping in a kennel placed in the bedroom, but would prefer to sleep in bed with his foster mom and eventually with his new adoptive family. As long as he can see his foster mom and siblings nearby, he sleeps through the night. Andy gets all excited when he spots his harness, knowing his favorite thing is about to happen…his walk! Andy is doing well with potty training, and his new family will need to continue his training and establish a consistent routine for him to follow.
Andy would be happiest in a home with an active family, with his main caregiver being home most of the day. He does well with other small dogs, and would love to have another little dog for a playmate. His foster mom would like him to live in the Twin Cities area so she can see him once in awhile. She would also like Andy and his new family to attend out Rescue Reunion which is held each year on the third weekend in June.
Andy is healthy, neutered, current on vaccinations, is on heart worm preventative, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $420.00 plus sales tax of $30.56 for a total of $456.56.
