Beyonce's Story...
Like a Japanese lucky cat figurine come to life!

This pretty girl ended up at a city shelter when her owner could no longer care for her. Beyonce looks just like one of those adorable Japanese lucky cat figurines, Maneki-Neko, with her adorable little round face and big and beautiful jade-colored eyes. She is quite the socialite and cutely makes the rounds to visit the other cats with some love taps at each door and window. She is literally a "party animal"! Beyonce has a playful and feisty spirit and will let you know right away with a love nibble when she has had enough petting. After some introductions with new people, she will be ready for some playtime or to get a treat. She has a curious side and will want to explore and familiarize herself with her surroundings. As Beyonce says in her song, Start Over, "Maybe we can start all over and give love another life" and this gorgeous green-eyed girl would agree!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Beyonce, a Houston Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
