Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ruby says, “Yes, I already know that I am gorgeous and have an amazing personality, but thank you!” Some volunteers keep a lookout for abandoned cats, and saw that there was a new cat in town. Ruby started showing up a few months before. She was unlike most cats in her situation. She wasn’t scared, and in fact would roll and roll on the sidewalk just for the fun of it. She would run around and chase the birds. She did not feel the need to hide, and so would sit on people’s porches in the middle of the day. But something was wrong. At first we thought that she might just be a local pet. She was too happy, too comfortable in her surroundings. However, her appetite and desperation for food and water showed the side that she tried to bravely keep secret. It was like she was too proud to be like other homeless cats, the way that some homeless people react when others are trying to help them get to a warm place. Well, with a little encouragement Ruby gave in, and agreed to come with us! Now this playful beauty has all the food she wants. She is in very good health, and we think she was not out on her own for more than a few months. Ruby is not only an orange beauty; she is frisky and endearing. She is like an instant anti-depressant, and what’s wrong with that?! Cats like Ruby don’t stay with us long. Please come and meet her today!
