Clinton's Story...
My name is Clinton. I am hoping half the cat adopting population won't be turned off by that name. If they do I still have the other half who would want to vote adopt me. I have been a bit stressed by my change in voting quarters since I arrived at the shelter, but I am still beautiful and that's got to count for something. I tested negative for feline aids/leukemia and I am up to date on shots. The the shelter is open every day so there is no excuse for you not to adopt early and adopt often. My short haired brother Hudson would be the perfect running mate for me (Hudson has been adopted).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clinton, a Bloomingdale Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Bloomingdale, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Bloomingdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomingdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomingdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomingdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
