Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This pretty little girl is Miss Kendall Keystone. Recently, while DREAM volunteers were working in conjunction with Zeke Fund Animal Rescue to save a male Dachshund from the Brookshire, Texas Pound, Kendall came to our attention. She had been a stray at the Brookshire Pound herself, back in the summer of 2014. A caring Zeke Fund Volunteer didn't have the heart to leave her there, so she took Kendall home and had been fostering her since August. Because Zeke's had not received any adoption interest for Kendall, DREAM gladly agreed to accept her into our program so we could hopefully find a Dachshund loving forever-family to adopt her!
This little 12 lb. cutie is totally friendly and playful and loves a fun game of chase. She's an easy girl who is mostly house-trained but prefers you let her outside throughout the day, as she hasn't quite mastered the doggie door; but she's close! Kendall would be great for a family with kids and other dogs, in a house with a yard, or she could also be perfectly content to be your one and only, even in an apartment setting.
