  • Age: Young
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)

Gorgeous Annie was rescued from a high kill shelter in Philadelphia. Annie is a petite, 45 pound, approx 1-2 year old blue and white beauty with a tail that never stops wagging! She simply adores being with people and loves to give kisses and snuggle. She takes treat oh-so-gently and is crate trained and house trained too! Annie loves life and is playful and happy go lucky. When she is excited she makes the most adorable piggy grunts and snorts and makes her foster family laugh with her antics. Annie sleeps well through the night in her crate and has no accidents. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and also flea and tick and heartworm preventative. Annie would be best suited in a home with kids over the age of 8 because of her exuberant demeanor. Annie is healthy, happy, and waiting for her forever home. If you are looking for a loving companion who will rest her head in your lap as she lays beside you contentedly, look no further! Please email enb313@gmail.com for an application.

About Diamonds in the Ruff Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

"Diamonds in a Ruff Rescue" is a foster-based, all-breed, no-kill animal rescue based in Philadelphia, PA that offers rescue and sanctuary to animals in need. We do not have a physical shelter you can visit - all of our animals are housed in foster homes. We are made up of volunteers and foster homes that care for and socialize our animals. Most of our animals have been rescued from "death row" from high-kill shelters and given a second chance at life. Our goal is to offer each and every one of these animals a safe, permanent and loving home. We also offer people the ability to surrender their dogs to us instead of surrendering their pet to a high-kill shelter if they can no longer take care of them. Please help us to give each of these animals the life they deserve.

Our Adoption Process...

You will be asked to fill out an adoption application giving us information about yourself, your family and your experience with pets. You will need to provide a vet reference and multiple personal references. Our goal is to find our animals the best possible home. Our adoption fee is $375 for dogs under 1 year old and $250 for dogs 1 year and older. The adoption fee includes a wellness exam, all age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter surgery, heartworm testing when age appropriate, heartworm treatment if necessary, worming, microchip, 30 days of free pet insurance and phone/email support from our dog trainer and discounted rates on any training scheduled with our dog

**We DO require that ALL dogs and cats in your household are spayed or neutered, kept up-to-date on vaccines and that they are seen annually for a check-up.
**We do NOT require a fenced in yard unless otherwise noted for a specific pet.
**We do NOT SHIP animals. If you are interested in adopting one of our pets and live outside of our area, you will be required to come meet and adopt the animal in person if your application is approved.
**We do NOT adopt to anyone under 25 years old.
**ALL APPLICANTS MUST GO THROUGH OUR ENTIRE ADOPTION APPLICATION PROCESS - WE DO NOT MAKE EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE.
