My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bobtail! This guy is a real survivor. He has had a hard time fending for himself and was outcast by his "team mates" who he romped around with. And someone bit him hard enough to transmit FIV to him. He has also lost half of his tail and his left ear was clipped when he was neutered as a Trap Neuter and Release cat.

Now Bobtail might be a little ruffled on the outside but he is a true diamond in the ruff. He is about 10 years old and has really mellowed out. He is ready to mellow out with someone and is nice and tame now. He has tasted the outdoor life long enough and wants someone to let him stay inside with him to give him overdue love and affection. This poor sweet senior had to have all his teeth extracted by the immense love of the person who rescued him. He is learning how to play all over again without them and is making great strids!

Bobtail is be is being fostered by a wonderful woman whose mother will be moving in and she is extremely allergic. Therefore, we are trying to assist her in finding a nine furever home for Bobtail as soon as possible. He is warm, affectionate and loves to have his chin scratched and be petted behind the ears. Adopt him and find out how much more adorable traits he has!

Having FIV is not a death sentence. Google it. These cats need love, kindness, good nutrition and low stress and they can live many years. Wouldn't it feel great to help a kitty who has some things going against him?

He is free to seniors. All normal adoption incentives apply!
