My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sophie is a sweet and gentle 8-pound Yorkie, who probably ended up at the shelter because her birth defects made her unsuitable for breeding. And though her head is slightly enlarged and her eyes are tilted downward, she's still sees very well and she is playful, inquisitive, and very affectionate. Sophie just love, love, loves to fling and shake soft cloth toys and she can jump high into the air when she's playing.
Like most Yorkies, Sophie is lively and energetic, so she enjoys taking a daily walk on leash, as well as having time to run and explore in a safe fenced area. And after she's gotten her exercise, this precious lovebug likes to be held, cuddled, and stroked.
Sophie is 3 to 4 years old and has tested negative for heartworm disease, too. This very special girl is looking for a special owner who doesn't mind her differences, and can give her lots of care and attention.
