Kati's Story...
KATI
I don't need designer dog beds or diamond collars; that's just not the kind of girl I am. I care more about personal connections than showboating. It's funny how something as abstract as love can be so much more valuable than tangible possessions. That is the kind of family I am looking for: one that tries to impress each other with actions of the heart. Good deeds are what get you a ticket to paradise and I want to make sure I have a first-class ticket. I am house trained and crate trained, and with gentle guidance I can learn whatever you want to teach me. My eyes will always be on you. I’m attentive and affectionate, playful, and eager to please. I love dogs, respectful kids of all ages, and even cats. My momma said I was born with a heart too big for this world, but I don’t think that’s true. I have had my share of heartache in this life, but I am still here. And I promise to be there for you as well, if you would have me. 5 years old-50lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes microchip, spay, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kati, a Portland Pit Bull Terrier/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Beagle for sale in Portland, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Beagle dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Beagle breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
