My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ozzie will be 2 years old on Friday, January 23rd 2015!!!

Here's a little message from Ozzie's foster pawrents ........

He is fully house-trained and knows ‘sit’ and ‘shake’. He is very trustworthy in our house so we do not crate him when we go to work. Ozzie barks to go out and come in and he is not destructive except for a newly developed love of ripping up cardboard boxes taught to him by his foster brother our 1yr old basset boy whom he LOVES to play with!

He still has a little puppy in that strong body of his so he can get a little rough when he plays and also a little ‘mouthy’ with other dogs and with us. We are teaching him that rough play is not acceptable with humans but overall he is a very good boy.

He has been very good with my two 14yr old bassets and 6yr old greyhound and listens to them when they make it clear they do not want to be bothered. He is not food or toy aggressive and walks very well on a leash but likes to try and chase after cars or people jogging by. :


Adoption donation is: $650.00

All adopters must live in Ohio, or within a 2 hour driving distance of the border.

We do not adopt out to families with children under 8 years old.
