Vespa's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Vespa is a pretty, intelligent little puppy who is looking for a 'furever' home. Her mother was a full-blooded Rhodesian Ridgeback and her father looked to be a Catahoula Leopard Dog. Both of these breeds can make loving, family pets but they can also be stubborn. Please research these breeds and be prepared to take your new puppy to a training class if needed. For more information, please email Vespa's foster at slaird61@yahoo.com .

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Vespa, a Rayville Rhodesian Ridgeback/Catahoula Leopard Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rhodesian Ridgeback/Catahoula Leopard Dog for sale in Rayville, or seeking a Rhodesian Ridgeback/Catahoula Leopard Dog puppy from a breeder in Rayville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rayville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rayville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rhodesian Ridgeback/Catahoula Leopard Dog breeders who help with Rhodesian Ridgeback/Catahoula Leopard Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rayville paves the way for another one to be saved.
