Squeezy's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Squeezy is a little cutie pie. Initially, she was shy but she has come out of her shell since being rescued from a vacant home. She plays but is not really high energy. And she loves to snuggle or go into her crate for a nap. Squeezy is a neat freak. She collects all of the toys at night to try to put in her crate so she can sleep with them. She also has a boyfriend, Sugar Ray, and they share a crate at night and spend their days playing together, but she likes all dogs as long as the big ones don't play too rough.
Squeezy LOVES kids. The smaller the better. She was at an adoption day recently with lots of smaller children and she was the happiest dog there!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Squeezy, a Rayville Cocker Spaniel/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel/Dachshund for sale in Rayville, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Rayville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rayville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rayville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel/Dachshund breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rayville paves the way for another one to be saved.
