Claudia's Story...
CLAUDIA is a beautiful, young and friendly female Boxer mix who is tan with a black muzzle and white feet. She is very active and inquisitive and will do best in an active home with a firm owner who can provide a routine and ongoing training. She is very interested in the other dogs at her foster home but can play rough so we recommend a home where other dogs are her size or larger and who also like vigorous play. She is one year of age. She weighed 33 pounds in January 2015 and we expect she will remain a medium-sized dog. She has been vetted, vaccinated and spayed, She is HW negative. She was picked up as a stray in Union City, TN, along with pal Ruff. Ruff was adopted and Claudia was not claimed by an owner, so it is now Claudia's turn to find a good forever home. If you live in another state, don't let that stand in your way. We will work to transport Claudia if it means she will have a good forever home. If you are another rescue group, we will waive the adoption fee but you can make a donation toward vetting at your discretion. The adoption fee will help our 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue to cover the cost of her veterinary care and spay surgery.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Claudia, a Union City Boxer/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Union City, or seeking a Boxer/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Union City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Union City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Union City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Boxer/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Union City paves the way for another one to be saved.
