Bridget's Story...
Name: Bridget
Color: White and Brown
Breed: Jack Russell Terrier and Corgi Mix
Gender: Female
Age: 9 Months
Bridget is an energetic young girl looking for an active, dedicated forever home. Bridget is more confident than her sister but is still pretty bashful in new situations and when meeting new people.
Big fan of: Being a Jack Russell Terrier as well as a Corgi, Bridget is going to be very smart and very high energy; she will need a very active home who can keep her well exercised and mentally stimulated. She would be a great candidate for agility training!
Special Features: Bridget will need to be signed up for positive reward based obedience classes before her adoption can be finalized; this will help her gain confidence and teach her some manners, as well as help her bond with her new family.
Dream Home: Bridget would enjoy living with a confident, forgiving male dog who can put up with her puppy energy but would do best without any cats or other small animals to chase after. Because of her timid nature, any children in her home should be over 14.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bridget, a Bellingham Jack Russell Terrier/Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Corgi for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Corgi dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Corgi breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
