My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Goose! Goose is a 1.5 year old 65 lb. German Shepard/Lab blend that stands 22 inches at the withers. He is a beautiful combination of black/tan and white with faint brindle markings on his legs. Reluctantly, his owner, who is active military, surrendered him because was being deployed overseas and does not know when he will return. Goose has a wonderful kind easy-going personality. His owner did a great job starting his training. He knows sit, wait and down. He loves people and is good with older (at least 12yrs) children and other dogs. He has only been with us for a short time and has become a volunteer favorite. Goose is a young, big, strong guy who would benefit from having an owner that can continue his training. He rides well in the car, loved to go for 5 mile runs with his owner or hiking. He is house-trained and good in the house. Please support our enlisted personnel and give Goose a great home.
