Oulo is an 8-month-old mix who was transferred to Animatch by the Nordic Paws Project. Yes, despite his small stature Oulo hails from the North. He is an interesting combination of breeds – possibly some Maltese, perhaps some Shiz Tzu. Whatever his mix he will be a natural as a buddy. Although he lacked individual attention and socialization, with some love and guidance, Oulo will be the devoted companion that you’ve been looking for. Oulo looks forward to the joy of going for walks, playing with toys, and of course is always quite happy to be held and cuddled. He will need frequent brushing and regular trips to a professional groomer. A home where he is not alone all day is a must, as Oulo needs some work on toilet training. With the help of a patient and gentle guardian, he will catch on quickly. Since he does like to hear himself talk (bark), he would not be a candidate for apartment/condo living. If you adopt Oulo, it must be for his entire life – adopting a pup is a 12 to 15-year commitment. Puppies are a lot of work but Cruz is so worth the effort – he is funny, affectionate and has the cutest underbite. He is a gentle and sweet dog and needs a human who is the same.
