Hope's Story...
Hope. The story we got on Hope is that she was rescued by a neighbor because she was born almost completely blind and deaf and they were going to take her away from the mother dog and leave her to die. The neighbor took her in but doesn't have the means to feed and care for her anymore so he called us. She is young, around 3-4 months old, very sweet. She does have some vision because she knows where the light is coming through the windows and she goes and sits in it. We really want her to find a home without having to make her come into the shelter at all. We don't want to leave her in one of the kennels, alone and confused. Her adoption fee is negotiable to find her a home where she will be safe and loved.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hope, a Loogootee Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Loogootee, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Loogootee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Loogootee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Loogootee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Loogootee paves the way for another one to be saved.
