Rustica is a pretty Pomeranian mix who came to Animatch as an unclaimed stray. Homelessness is not something any dog should have to experience but this petite head turner is seeking companionship with a guardian who will love her forever. Rustica could use a dog-savvy guardian who would help her polish her social skills around other dogs. Obedience training would go a long way in boosting her confidence. As you will see in one of her photos, Rustica could very well accept a cat as a roommate. Do you have what it takes to be her new family? Rustica would love a human who has a soft spot for Poms, a comfy bed, and hands that are experienced in giving a belly rub. Now, Rustica, like most Poms, can be a big talker (barker), so we must avoid placing her in a condo/apartment setting. At only one year old, she loves to go for long walks and will even learn to retrieve a ball if you teach her. If you have a home where Rustica will feel welcome, she would sure love to meet you.
