My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Reggie! I am 5 years old, neutered, and I tip the scales at a whopping 80 pounds! My friends think I'm a purebred German Shepherd Dog. I could be mixed with something else, but it's really hard to say for sure.

I'm definitely a gentle giant! I love to give hugs to all my human companions. It's probably my favorite thing to do. I'm super gentle about it, too. I won't be knocking you over even though I'm such a big guy.

Rumor has it that I know how to sit, shake, and come when called. Looking for a dog that knows the basics already? Then don't pass up the opportunity to adopt me!

Can you believe that with all my great qualities my previous family decided to dump me at a high-kill shelter? Guess what their excuse was? They said I was too vocal!
Everybody who knows me says that I'm a very quiet, calm gentleman. The shelter probably asked them why they were giving me up. I guess they had to come up with something. I wonder if they knew there was a good chance that I'd be euthanized. Maybe they didn't care.

I spent 15 days at the shelter. Thankfully, CageFree rescued me. I'm now hanging out at their place while I wait for you to adopt me.
