Casper's Story...
If you like unusual things and don't want to go with the flow, please take a look at Casper who is very unique with his gorgeous white coat, Great Pyr head, body, and tail and short Corgi legs. Casper is an adorable boy who was boarded and abandoned at a local vet's office. He is such a sweet boy and no one can figure out how someone could just leave him. Casper is about 3 years old and weighs 67 pounds. He is in good shape, fully vetted, and is completely crate trained. He is very good with people and is calm and friendly. As soon as we know more about his personality, we will update here.

We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Casper, a Dallas Great Pyrenees/Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees/Corgi for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Great Pyrenees/Corgi dog from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees/Corgi breeders who help with Great Pyrenees/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
