Mikey's Story...
Mikey is a male, black (with a bit of white on chest) DSH; DOB approximately May 2013. Mikey and his two siblings were brought to GGOH after being found motherless and hungry on the side of the road in New Richmond, WI. Mikey and his siblings were in rough shape when they entered our facility, but with a lot of love and care, they all were returned to happy, healthy kitties. We like to call Mikey our "Spiderman" boy as he loves to jump and play. Mikey is a special boy with an extra toe on each of his front feet - this just adds to his charm! He has a very playful attitude about everything - he is definitely one fun cat! Mikey has had some intestinal/bowel issues in the past, but please do not let this deter you from considering this lovable boy as a proper diet keeps everything under control. If you have questions for us about Mikey (or his dietary needs), just stop in or give us call, we'd be happy to give you all the details.

PLEASE READ OUR ADOPTION PROCESS INFORMATION BEFORE SUBMITTING ANY COMMUNICATION OR APPLICATION TO US. Thank you!

Mikey, a New Richmond, Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in New Richmond,, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in New Richmond,.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Richmond, already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Richmond, breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Richmond, paves the way for another one to be saved.
