Rozzie's Story...
((FOR MORE INFORMATION AND AN APPLICAITON ON THIS PUPPY PLEASE EMAIL SANDY AT vshutchins@gmail.com) This handsome guy is Rozzie. Him, his 7 siblings and their mother were found abandoned in a field by a young boy returning home from school. His mother contacted us for help so we took them in to care for them. The mom looks to be mostly black lab but a bit smaller than most labs I have seen. She is a wonderful mother to these babies. We obviously have no idea on father/fathers considering they were found abandoned but Rozzie looks just like his momma. We are estimating them to be 6 weeks old as of 1-24-15. Rozzie will be completely vetted before going to his forever home including neutered, wormed- vaccines, etc. He should be ready to go to his forever home by the weekend of Feb 14th or Feb 21st. Rozzie and his family are located in Arkansas but we have dogs transported to the Northeast weekly once they are adopted. We use Got Orphans Transport and you can check them out at www.gotransporters.com For more info and an application on Rozzie- please only email Sandy at vshutchins@gmail.com and thank you for considering one of my rescues.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rozzie, a Rochester Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
