Pippsy's Story...
Pippsy is a DSH brown-black tabby spayed female, est. dob 9/29/2014.

Pippsy is a cute little tabby with a brown background and black stripes and spots. She is energetic and playful and loves to explore her surroundings. She is a cuddler, purring when she is picked up and will crawl in your lap for a nap after she is tired of playing. Her favorite activities are chasing balls, batting toys in a track, climbing the cat trees and scratching cardboard, sisal and carpeted scratchers.

Pippsy enjoys the other kittens and cats in her foster home, and would love to have a kitten or cat companion in her new home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pippsy, a North Highlands Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in North Highlands, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in North Highlands.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Highlands already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Highlands breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Highlands paves the way for another one to be saved.
