Hi there. My name is Cash. I'm about 2 years old and I weigh 68 lbs.
I was brought in to the pound after being found.
My owner was located. It turns out I was her brother's dog and she took me because he got incarcerated. She had three dogs of her own and I was a lot for her to be able to handle so she opted to surrender me to the pound so I can be vetted and rehomed.
I'm a really sweet and happy boy. I really, really love to play and go for walks.
I love to play with other dogs. I love to play ball and play with toys. I'm a vocal type of boy. I growl when I play with my toys. The pound does not believe this is out of aggression as I have not attempted to bite. The people here can take my toys off of me and I growl bit I have never attempted to bite so that is what leads them to believe that I am just a "talker" when I play.
When the play ball with me, they use 2 balls because it is easier to play with me likr that. They'll throw one for me to go fetch and when I bring it back, they have me put down the ball I have in my mouth already and throw the next one, then pick up the ball I dropped and we start all over again.
I appear to be house broken as I haven't had many accidents since I've been here. Also, my previous owner said I was housebroken.
I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER DECEMBER 29, 2014.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY SPAY SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS
