found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
Sweet-natured, easy-going, undemanding, mild-mannered, and aiming to please, this charming and very affectionate boy, while being quietly unassuming, will completely steal your heart. A sensitive, gentle soul who is extremely well-mannered, November gives telltale signs of his genuine love for people with warm, engaging expression and enthusiastic tail-wag (we call it wiggle-butt). Readily sharing his affection and kisses upon invitation, he is a people-oriented canine who lives for companionship and close contact, and he loves to snuggle. Intelligent, active, curious, and playful, he needs daily mental stimulation and physical activity to stay happy and healthy. His exercise needs are pretty modest though and can be met with regular leashed walks, interactive play sessions and outdoor romps, and adventurous outings alongside family members who he will be fawningly devoted to. November is currently working on his leash skills and good manners training with Monroe SPCA. He’s extremely obedient and quick to please; easy to handle and very attuned to handler. Like all of our dogs November is looking for responsible, caring owners who are willing to provide daily structure, regular exercise, consistent leadership, lifelong companionship, and plenty of love and attention.
November is best suited as an indoor pet and companion for a home with a calm, low-active to moderately-active lifestyle. As with all of our adoptable dogs, we recommend a meet-n-greet with any housemate dogs prior to adoption. Direct interaction with cats is unknown and cannot be assessed at the shelter at this time.
November currently resides at the Monroe County Animal Shelter. The shelter is located at 911 South Raisinville Road, Monroe, MI 48161 (just south of the fairgrounds). You can meet him during regular shelter hours; Tuesday through Friday, 11:00 am until 3:30 pm, and Saturday, 11:00 am until 2:30 pm. The shelter is closed Sunday, Monday, and all national holidays.
Interested adopters will need to visit the shelter to complete an adoption application on November.
