My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

IDGSR WELCOMES SHANE INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!

Shane came to us in extremely dire condition. Much longer and we think he would have succumb to starvation.

IDGSR knew this pup was in a bad situation - dehydrated, emaciated, scared to death.

While he looks very Shepherdy, we do not know his heritage. Although we were told Shepherd and Golden Retriever, he is very small, we think not more than 40lbs when fully grown.

This sweet boy needs a patient adopter who will work with him and push him each day just a little bit past his comfort zone, showing him that life can be good.

Sadly IDGSR and many rescues take in these dogs who are abused, neglected and treated like trash. These pups are very sweet and will take time to bond and blossom into loving adult dogs.

If you are interested in Shane, please apply on our website.
