Ebony's Story...
Ebony, the sweetest, most loving cat who has had such a rough time.. Rescued as an owner surrender, she came to us with severe dental disease, respiratory conditions and had prior multiple litters. Dental surgery was performed and a 2nd dental surgery is set for May 2016. After her first surgery, her left eye began to not look right. After every treatment was performed and not successful, an eye specialist saw her and determined eye removal was needed. Histopathy results were received and it was determined a dental block performed during her dental surgery had accidentally penetrated the rear of her eye causing infection and the loss of her eye.. Though this was upsetting news, Ebony is doing well in her foster home, has adjusted to life with one eye and is more than ready to find her forever home, where she will be spoiled and have the best care ever!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ebony, a Plainville Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Plainville, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Plainville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainville paves the way for another one to be saved.
