Petey's Story...
This is Petey. Petey was found living with a friend in an abandoned car in the back of the lot at a car dealership. An employee spotted him and his friend and contacted Cloverleaf Animal Hospital. The vets graciously took in Petey and began to look for a home for him. Many vets promptly call the pound to come pick up strays, but the kind people at Cloverleaf have kept him and his friend for a couple of months. We met Petey one day when we were there and thought he was a friendly and handsome dog and said we would assist in helping him find a forever home.

You can often times find Petey working at the front desk or hanging with Angel, the office cat. Petey's adoption fee is $425 and includes all of his vetting (vaccinations, neuter, microchip, heart worm preventative), health certificate and transpiration from Memphis to you. Please email wilsonanimalrescue@yahoo.com for an application on Petey.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Petey, a Hagerstown Dalmatian/American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dalmatian/American Bulldog for sale in Hagerstown, or seeking a Dalmatian/American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Hagerstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hagerstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hagerstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dalmatian/American Bulldog breeders who help with Dalmatian/American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hagerstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
