Update 01/27/15: Hi all, Honey here. I saw the dogtor tonight, who estimates my age to be about 7 years old. He gave me my shots & took some blood. He said I need to wait a little while to to be spayed since I came out of heat, so I'll hang with my foster family for a little while, which is ok with them because I'm so darn sweet! Fill out an app if you want to be first in line for the process to adopt me, & stay tuned for another pupdate!



Initial Bio 01/26/15: Hi, my name is Honey...because of my golden color and because I'm sweet as sugar! I'm 10.5 pounds, & a long, slender, beautiful girl. I was found running the streets, filthy, and almost hit by a car when a good Samaritan stopped & saved me & turned me into UYR. I'm now fresh & clean, but I need quite a bit of vet work. I need shots, to be spayed, checked for heartworms, & mostly, I'm in very bad need of a dental. My teeth are almost completely covered in plaque & tartar, my breath is awful, & my mouth hurts so bad I can't chew my food. Foster mom says this means my vet bill will be really high & I probably will have to have some teeth pulled, but that I will feel much afterwards. It will be a few weeks until I can find a new home, but I'm very sweet, laid back, like to carry soft toys in my mouth, & my favorite is sleeping in fluffy dog beds. So far, I appear to be housetrained too. I won't last long with all these great qualities, so fill out an application now so foster mom can start reviewing them for when I'm ready to go home!
