Are you looking for a wonderful best friend?
My name is Missy. I am a spayed red n white cocker girl about 6 years old. I was found as a stray in Arkansas by animal control. I was with a blind, older cocker boy. Both of us are nice dogs and were put up for adoption. He got adopted to a very nice couple here in NC and then I got adopted out to an elderly man in AK to be his companion. After a short time, I was returned to the shelter because I was to energetic for him. Turns out, the daughter of the couple who adopted the blind cocker boy happened to be looking online and noticed that I was available again, so she told her Mom. Next thing I know, they adopted me too and drove the distance to AK to get me. They had me for a month and really loved me, but I just wasn't doing well with the cocker boy, so they asked for rescue help.
I am heartworm negative, UTD on shots, spayed and micro-chipped. I am good at the groomer and I love to ride in the car. I am a very sweet, friendly, loving girl. I enjoy attention, love and spending quality time with you. I would love to snuggle up next to you on the couch and I will be a great walking companion. I do need to find a home where I can be the only dog and a fenced backyard would be great too, so that I can romp and play on a nice warm day. I would love to be your sweet baby girl, a great house doggie and spend a wonderful life with you.
