What a Pity's Story...
Last week we went in the Shelter to see if we could find a little one to rescue and found this poor sweet girl completely petrified. Her name is Ms. Bonnie. She is only two years old and was brought to the Shelter after her former parents thought it was too expensive to have a dog!! They turned her into a kill Shelter!!

Of all the ones that day, Ms. Bonnie was the one who needed the most help and had no time to spare. She is shy and looks at you with her tender eyes. We really hope she will find a great home where she can never be left again. She is very precious, loves tummy rubs and being petted. She is fostered on the Island and is of course fully vetted and microchiped. If you would like to meet her, please call Isabelle at 239-281-0739; thanks.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

What a Pity, a Ft Myers Beach Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Ft Myers Beach, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Ft Myers Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ft Myers Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ft Myers Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ft Myers Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
