Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Eli is a beautiful 2 year old black and tan male with cropped ears and a docked tail. This young guy is very energetic and enjoys playing fetch in the backyard and running in the park with the other dogs or just with you! He can be timid at first but gets comfortable quickly and will run and play with the others. Once he gets up to full speed he is a sight to watch and he’s at his happiest when he’s running and playing. He’s a quick learner; food and praise are great motivators for him. He knows all the basic commands (sit, down, stay, drop/drop it) and he walks nicely on the leash. He doesn’t know the “heel” command but he has been taught to walk with you in that position. Eli is crate trained and sleeps and eats in his crate, but he prefers to be uncrated during the day. Eli also respects baby gates and can be easily contained. Eli is very affectionate and craves his people. Due to his energy level and desire to be a part of your life, he would be most happy in a home where he is not left alone for long periods of time. Eli would do well with children 12 & older that know how to be respectful of dogs but no cats or small dogs
