My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miss Beatrice (BeeBee) is an 8 year old Golden delight. She is really sweet, LOVES people, is very well housebroken and walks pretty well on
leash. When she goes to the dog park, she managed to charm all the humans as well as the dogs. She started playing with her foster sibling within the first 10 minutes after she walked in the door. She loves chewing marrow bones and sometimes likes to play with balls. She will let someone (anyone) pet her for hours on end. She has a cute little quiet "woof" when she wants something or is trying to entice another dog to play with her. She is good at "sit" but is still working on "stay" and "wait". She is smart and will learn quickly.

The flaps on Beatrice's ears are thick with scarring; their appearance adds to her charm once you get to know her. She has a lovely smile.

She has allergies that require that she eat NO grains or chicken. Her itching has diminished dramatically since she has been on grain-free food. She also has severe ear infections for which she is being treated. She is very cooperative and good about allowing her foster mom to administer her ear medicine.

At this point we are hopeful that Miss B will not need surgery for her right ear. Her left ear is much improved however both ears will need daily medication for the rest of her life. She is starting an allergy medication that will help her skin and ear conditions. The monthly cost for this medication (Atopica) is approx. $150.00.

Beatrice is quite the charmer - you can't help but fall in love once you meet her. She is cat, kid and dog friendly. What more could you ask for?
