Jagr's Story...
Jagr is a low-medium energy 9 year old Jack Russell with superior snuggling abilities who likes to burrow under the blankets with you when it's time to go to bed. Doesn't chew or dig. Takes treats nicely, gives kisses (usually on your ear), knows sit, wait, walks well on a leash and travels great in the car. He has a growl-y method of communication which takes some getting used to but now just makes us laugh. Loves people, can be pushy about getting attention and for that reason should be with kids who are older. In his past life we heard he bit a dog passing by his house, and still doesn't like dogs other than ours, so should be placed as an only dog. He weighs about 20 lbs. and is located in Lancaster County, PA.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jagr, a Blue Bell Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Blue Bell, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Blue Bell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Blue Bell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Blue Bell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Blue Bell paves the way for another one to be saved.
